How to use Ahead PDF Password Remover

This guide will show you how to remove password and restrictions with Ahead PDF Password Remover step by step. Before you start, please download, install and launch Ahead PDF Password Remover.

Step 1. Download and Run the PDF Password Remover

Download Ahead PDF Password Remover and install it on your PC. Then launch the program.

Step 2: Add PDF files

Click the “Add Files” button to import PDF files you need to remove password. If you want to import a batch of files, press the “ctrl” key to select.

Note:

1. You can click the “Remove” button in the toolbar to remove a selected file or click the “Clear” button to remove all the pdf files from the program.

2. If you want to remove the user/open password of the PDF files, see How to remove user/open password.

Step 3: Set the Output folder

If you want to specify an output folder for the unlocked PDF files, please click the “Browse…” button to specify a folder.

Tips:

You can click the “Open” button to open the specified output folder.

Step 4: Remove PDF password

Click “Start” to remove password from PDF files.

Tips:

During the remove process, the “Start” button will change to a “Stop” button, you can click the “Stop” button to stop the process.

Step 5: Open the unlocked PDF file

There are two methods for you to open the unlocked PDF file.

1. After processing is complete, it will display the following screen. Click the “Open Folder” button to open the output folder, then you can open a pdf file by double-clicking.

2. After processing is complete, the file name of unlocked PDF file will be displayed in the Status column, and you can click the file name to open the unlocked PDF file.
